After the disappointing opening day, Pakistan cueists recovered to post victories on the second day of IBSF World Snooker Championship in Bangalore (India) on Tuesday. Pakistan number one Imran Shahzad in his second match routed Ro Byoung Hwa of Korea 4-0. Lahore-based Imran showed superb cue control, positional play and sinking of the ball to chalk out a one sided 72-02, 102-15, 98-07, 74-25 victory.
After suffering a surprise defeat to Rais Khan of Afghanistan on Monday, Asif Toba beat Karl Heinz Beggel of Germany 4-0, said an e-mail received here. Earlier on day one, Poland's Krzysztof Wrobel recovered from 1-2 down to defeat Imran Shahzad in a fully extended match 4-3. Imran won the first and third frame to take upper hand. But Polish cueman proved took good to register 00-86, 94-00, 00-86, 90-00, 109-00, 00-71, 62-55 win. On Wednesday Muhammad Asif Toba take on a tough English opponent Michal Wild in the morning session and Muhammad Asif take on Mark Tuite of Ireland. Later in the evening match Asif Toba will play Winnie Calabrese of Australia.
