Activists of Pakistan Muslim League-Q Monday staged a protest demonstration on Sher Shah Suri road near Peshawar Press Club to condemn the Nato aircraft attack on military check posts in Mohmand Agency, demanding for strong retaliation action against the unprovoked bombardment of US-alliance forces.
The protest demonstration was headed by women legislator in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly of PML-Q, Nighat Yasmin Orakzai, provincial General Secretary, Itikhab Chamkani along scores of workers and students activists. The protesters were holding placards and banners inscribed with slogans against the Nato alliance forces shelling on military check posts, in which 24 soldiers were martyred and left 13 injured on last weekend. They were chanted full-throated slogans against the United States and Nato forces attack.
Talking to reporters, the women MPA, Nighat Orakzai has strongly denounced the US alliance forces incursion inside Pakistan territories and termed it as against sovereignty and integrity of the country. She demanded that the military and civilian leadership to take stern action against the attack and security forces should retaliate any external incursion of US-led alliance forces.
She also demanded for suspending Nato logistic and food supply forever in protest. PML-Q provincial General Secretary, Intikhab Chamkani demanded of the government to take up issue with UN and move a proper resolution against Nato/ISAF forces attack against Pakistan security forces.
