Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu called Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar on Saturday night to express solidarity with the people and government of Pakistan on Nato/Isaf attacks in Mohmand Agency.
Foreign Minister Khar while thanking FM Davutoglu for this expression of solidarity, condemned in the strongest terms the unprovoked and totally unacceptable attacks by Nato/Isaf which demonstrated complete disregard for international law and human life.
FM Davutoglu assured FM Khar that Turkey as member of Nato would ask for an impartial inquiry into the attacks. He added that loss of Pakistani soldiers was as painful as losing Turkish soldiers.
Meanwhile, German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle telephoned Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar to express support and solidarity with the people and Government of Pakistan. He deplored the Nato/Isaf attack and said it was unacceptable. He supported full investigation of the attack.
The German Foreign Minister said that Germany was fully aware of Pakistan's sacrifices and contributions. He hoped that the military incident would not affect political cooperation.
Foreign Minister Khar briefed the German Foreign Minister on the gravity of situation created by the attacks and its repercussions. She also briefed him on the DCC decisions.-PR
