Musharraf witnesses Pakistan-Sri Lanka Twenty20 match

Former President of Pakistan and Chief of All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) Pervez Musharraf witnessed the Pakistan-Sri Lanka T20 match in Abu Dhabi, on Friday. The former President had been specially invited by Shaikh Nahyan Al Mubarak Al Nahyan, who is a Member of the Abu Dhabi Royal Family and Minister for Higher Education, of the UAE.
He is also the chairman of Abu Dhabi Group and owner of Bank Alfalah and Warid. Pervez Musharraf, who is also a keen sportsman and plays tennis, squash and golf, enjoyed the match thoroughly and applauded both the teams on their good performance. Expressing his views on the occasion he said that irrespective of victory or defeat, taking part in sports is a positive activity as sports instill discipline and a spirit of competition in sportsmen. On the occasion a vast majority of Pakistanis displayed great pleasure in finding the former president amongst them.-PR
