Weather remains dry in most parts of country

Foggy/misty conditions are likely to prevail in plain areas of Punjab, Khyber-Pukhtunkhwa during late night and early morning in the next 24 hours, said the Met Office on Thursday. "Continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country. A shallow trough of westerly wave is also affecting Western borders of the country," the office said, adding that mainly dry weather expected in most parts of the country in the next 24 hours.
It says some places of Malakand division are expected to receive light rain during the period. It says weather remained dry in most parts of country but over plain areas of Punjab and Khyber Pukhtunkhwa foggy/ misty conditions prevailed during the last 24 hours. Temperature in Skardu was minus 3 degree centigrade. Karachi's weather is likely to remain dry with maximum temperature ranging between 32 degree centigrade and 34 degree centigrade in the next 24 hours, the Met Office says.
