Mild tremor shook Ziarat and surrounding areas on Thursday evening without causing any damage to life and property local officials said. The magnitude of the tremor on the Richter scale was 3.0 and it was felt in Ziarat, Khanozai and adjacent areas of Quetta. Its epicenter was some 85 kilometers North East of Quetta. It is worth mentioning that two quakes of 6.5 and 6.6 magnitude destroyed three union councils of Ziarat district in which around 200 persons were killed in 2008.
