The Sindh Home department on Thursday imposed a ban on pillion riding in Karachi under Section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC) The ban will be effective from Friday, November 25, till the 10th of Muharram. Senior citizens, women and media persons have been exempted. A senior official said that the decision was taken by Sindh Home Minister Manzoor Wasan during a meeting held here to review the law and order situation.
