Equities moved in upward direction at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where gainers outclassed losers under the lead of star performers stocks amid increase in index. ISE Ten Index showed an increase of 39.45 points, as the Index moved from 2,635.73 to 2,675.18 points. The overall turnover amounted to 68,500 shares, as compared to previous volume of 18,800 shares.
Total 114 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (63) closed in positive territory, 51 closed in negative territory. The turnover of Fatima Fertiliser was 25,500 shares. The volume of Arif Habib Corporation was 15,800 shares. The turnover of Bank of Punjab was 10,500 shares.
