Municipal jurisdiction: tribunal to hear appeals from November 26

Chairman/Judge Appellate Tribunal Local Council Sindh, Syed Aley Maqbool Rizvi is scheduled to hear appeals pertaining to Municipal Corporations, Municipal and Town Committees, District and Union Councils of Districts Hyderabad and Sanghar on November 26, 2011. According to a handout, the judge will hold camp at the Tribunal at District Sessions Court, Hyderabad.
It said, it may be mentioned the Appellate Tribunal Local Council Sindh is a judicial forum which has been hearing the appeals relating to municipal jurisdiction under the provision of the Section 108 of the Sindh (repeal of the Sindh Local Government Ordinance 2011 and the Revival of the Sindh Local Government Ordinance 1979) Act, 2011 (Municipal Law) read with Rule-4 of the Sindh Council (Appeal) Rules 1982.
