Published Updated

Social development and prosperity have also brought new diseases with them, which can only be managed if young doctors focus on modern research by keeping their knowledge up-to-date. Senior doctors and professors should share their experiences to new generation through their writings and books.
These views were expressed by Principal Post Graduate Medical Institute Professor Dr Tariq Salah-ud-Din who was speaking as a special guest at the concluding session of three-day workshop on Paediatrics held at PGMI. Workshop was attended by more than 60 FCPS Paediatric post graduate students. Dr Tariq stressed upon the participants of training workshop to serve ailing humanity by joining health facilities established at far-flung areas.
He said that PGMI is always focused on providing high quality education to students so that they could compete at international level by any standard. Professor Agha Shibir Ali, Head of Paediatrics Department, while imparting the purpose of the workshop said that the activity would not only improve the capabilities of students about clinical treatment, but also will help a great deal to pass the post-graduate examination.
