All-out resources being utilised for welfare of masses: chief minister Punjab
Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that all out resources are being utilised for welfare of the masses and rapid development of the province and timely and transparent completion of development projects are being ensured. He said that transparency is the hallmark of Punjab government and development projects of the government are living proof of this fact.
He said that service to the masses is the mission of Pakistan Muslim League-N and under the leadership of Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, the agenda of public service is being implemented speedily. Members Provincial Assembly, Commissioner and District Coordination Officer Lahore, Secretary Communication and Works, Director General Parks and Horticulture Authority, Sector Incharge National logistic Cell and senior engineers of Nespak were present on the occasion.
The Chief Minister reviewed under-construction Canal Road, Jallo Road, horticulture work in Jallo Park, fencing wall on Ring Road and remaining development work on Multan Road.
Reviewing the pace of progress on development projects, the chief minister said that best infrastructure is of a great importance for the promotion of economic activities and the development of any country and keeping in view this importance, a comprehensive strategy is being implemented for development of infrastructure in the province.
He said that a network of flyovers, bridges and roads is being laid in the province. He said that the policy of third-party audit is being implemented strictly for the completion of all development projects so that the proper utilisation of every penny of public money could be ensured. He said that steps are being taken on priority basis for bringing the less-developed areas at par with the developed areas. While inspecting the under-construction dual road from Canal to Jallo Park at Jallo, he directed to accelerate the pace of work on this road for the convenience of the citizens visiting Jallo Park.
