Western Australia's CBH Group said on Monday it had sold 150,000 tonnes of Australian Prime White (APW) grade wheat to Saudi Arabia, following the Middle East kingdom's decision to no longer rely on domestic supplies as it seeks to conserve water.
The first 50,000-tonnes cargo this year, with a protein content of around 11.15 percent, has been loaded in Australia's leading grain exporting state. The business was won under a global tender issued in August, a company official said.
