Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore has announced its revised results of intermediate part-I after rectifying errors, here on Saturday. According to the revised results, 62,647 declared to have passed the exam as against 49,436 in the previous result.
The pass percentage in the revised has gone up to 50.26 percent from the previous 39.64 percent. Government College University pre-engineering student, Muhammad Omar securing 493 marks stood first, while among the pre-engineering girls, Fatima Khurshid of Punjab College with 485 marks topped the list.
BISE Lahore Chairman, Dr Allah Bakhsh announced the results held under the aegis of Lahore Board. The result was earlier announced on October 17, however, after protests by students against enormous errors in it, Punjab government had announced to re-announce them within 45 days.
