127 shops gutted in Imperial Market blaze

Fire has destroyed 127 shops of the Imperial Market caused millions of loss to shopkeepers in Rawalpindi's Raja Bazar. According to details, fire broke out on the first floor of Imperial Market in Raja Bazar on night between Friday and Saturday, which spread rapidly and engulfed 127 shops.
The fire brigade and Rescue 1122 teams rushed to the site and started rescues operation and prevented the spread of the fire to other floors of the market. The fire-fighters brought the fire under control after and hectic effort. The fire caused millions of rupees loss to shopkeepers.
