Islamabad Police have arrested four illegal immigrants hailing from Azerbaijan including women who could not produce any authentic document for their stay in Pakistan, a police spokesman said here on Saturday. He said ASI Muhammad Siddique from Sabzi Mandi police station nabbed these four Azerbaijani, from a police picket near NESCOM, as they could not produce any document about their stay in country.
They have been identified as Raza, Lali Naveed, Jamila Raza and Ayesha Raza. Further investigation is underway from them. On a tip-off, Sub-Inspector Abdul Razaaq from Ramna police arrested a Nigerian national identified as Eimelbari from sector G-10/4 for having 80 cans of beer in his car (LEA-6703). ASI Kausar Iqbal from Anti-Car Lifting Cell searched a car (RIZ-5403) near 'Jhugi Syedan' in Tarnol police area and recovered wine from it besides apprehending four car occupants identified as Jameel Usman, Farooq and Khurram.
Sub-Inspector Shaukat Hussain from CIA police arrested four alleged thieves Ali Asghar, Bilal, Lateef, Wajid and recovered looted items from their possession. Assistant Sub-Inspector Gulzar Ahmed from CIA police arrested a thief identified as Mudassar and recovered stolen mobile from him, while Sub-Inspector Muhammad Arshad from Kohsar police arrested Waseem Masih for having 230 gram heroin.
While Sub-Inspector Saif Ullah arrested Javed Masih for possessing 170-gram heroin, ASI Abdhul Ghafor from Tarnol police nabbed Habib in possession of 30 bore pistol and three rounds. Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway. SSP Islamabad Muhammad Yousuf Malik has also directed for effective vigilance against anti-social elements.
