President Asif Ali Zardari and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain made a telephonic contact on Wednesday morning and discussed the overall political situation in the country. According to Presidential spokesman Farhatullah Babar, the two leaders in their early morning telephonic contact discussed current political situation with respect to government alliances.
Also, numerous other parliamentary matters were talked about, the spokesman said. The government source did not state any further information regarding the talk. However, according to some media reports, both the leaders have discussed Zulfiqar Mirza's tour to the UK.
