LBSE to announce rechecked results on November 19

Provincial Education Minister Mujtaba Shujaur Rehman said that after rechecking the results of Lahore Board of Secondary Education will be announced on November 19. Addressing a press conference at Lahore Press Club on Sunday, Rehman said that IT Consultant Dr. Majid, who is accused of wrong results of the Ist year students, has no link with the central leader of Muslim League-N Ishaq Dar and legal notice will be issued to those levelling allegations in this regard.
He accused some leaders of PPP of demonstrating immoral attitude by levelling allegations and said they can never succeed in their nefarious designs. He said Senator Ishaq Dar is a very honest and Mr. Clean and leadership of every political party greatly respects him. He said in the light of the report of the Judicial Commission regarding results of education boards, action will be taken against the persons responsible of this negligence. He said another committee headed by Director Anti-Corruption is also carrying out investigation in this regard whereas a number of persons who showed negligence and dishonesty have already been removed from their posts.
Replying to a question, he said appointment of new IT Consultant will be made purely on merit for improving the online system.
