Next general election to be held on time: Ayaz Soomro

Sindh Law Minister, Muhammad Ayaz Soomro on Saturday said that next general election in the country would be held on time. He was briefing the media outside Bilawal House about details of the various meetings held by President Asif Ali Zardari at Bilawal House.
He said President Asif Ali Zardari has directed the party leaders including members of the provincial and National assemblies to enhance their contact to the people. He said President Asif Ali Zardari held three separate meetings including a meeting on fertiliser requirement for Rabi crop.
Ayaz Soomro said the meeting decided to ensure provision of fertilisers to farmers for timely cultivation of rabi crop. Speaking about another meeting, he said development work including renovation and extension of shrine of famous saint Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalander in Sehwan Sharif was discussed. He said the meeting decided to establish a branch of Sindh Bank in Sehwan Sharif.
Muhammad Ayaz Soomro said that the meeting directed to complete the ongoing work of the shrine Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalander by January 30, 2012. He said another meeting discussed the reorganisation of Pakistan People's Party (PPP) and energetic people would be given responsibilities in the party.
To a question, Ayaz Soomro said all vacant posts in Sindh would be filled through Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC). To another question, he said we would discuss the matter about local government system with our coalition partners in accordance with the ground realities and in the light of the interests of Sindh.
