Almost all the victims of October 8, 2005 earthquake in Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK) had been compensated by the government, claimed Director Disaster Management Zia Ahmad Khawaja on Saturday. Talking to APP, the Director Disaster Management said that different development projects were being launched by the state government with the financial assistance of the federal government and different donor countries to bring back the normal life for the people in the affected zone.
Elaborating the reconstruction plan, he said the construction work in Muzaffarabad and other affected districts, including Neelam Valley, Bagh, Rawalakot, and Sudhanoti had been completed.
