Three killed in separate incidents

At least three persons were killed in separate incidents at various parts of the metropolis here on Saturday. According to the police, a man was shot dead near Dawood Chowrangi Landhi in the limits of Quaidabad police station. The victim Fazal Ameen, 32, son of Gul Hassan, who was on the way to his work, was targeted by two armed assailants near Dawood Chowrangi.
Resultantly, he received nine bullets and died on the spot. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for medico legal formalities. DSP Nasir Lodhi said the deceased was the resident of Sherpao Colony Landhi and might have been killed over personal enmity.
Yet another man was found dead in mysterious circumstances at his house located in Niazi Chowk in the limits of Kalri police station. The strangulated body of Mehrab Hussain, 32, was found at his house located in Niazi Chowk near people's football ground.The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for medico legal formalities, where doctors said the victim had some torture marks. Police said the area people informed them that they saw two people entered his quarter before his murder. Later police moved his body to Edhi Morgue. No case was registered till filing of this report.
A 30-year-old man was fallen prey to targeted killing spree in the limits of Gulshan Iqbal police station. Police said the victim Kashif Raza Zaidi son of Riyaz Raza Zaidi, who was standing outside the General Store located in Anas Arcade, block-2, Gulshan Iqbal, was killed in a drive-by shooting. The deceased received three bullets and succumbed to his injures on the spot.
