Zardari phones Altaf

President Asif Ali Zardari on Saturday talked to Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain on phone to discuss current political situation in the country. According to Presidential spokesman Farhatullah Babar, the leaders discussed the political scenario and law and order situation in the country with special focus on Sindh province.
The MQM chief assured the President that his party would continue to support the PPP led government at the Centre and in Sindh and would be in the forefront to foil conspiracies against the democratic set up. Sources said that the matter of arrest of two suspected killers of Dr Imran Farooq by Pakistani security agencies was also discussed during the conversation. President Zardari and Altaf Hussain also gave thought to Sindh situation.
