Chairman of Pakistan Baitul Mal (PBM) Zamurad Khan has said that the PBM is spending a huge amount for helping most deserving and needy persons. He said that the Baitul Mal had introduced a programme under which adopted orphan children would be provided all possible assistance so that they could also perform their responsibilities as a useful member of the society.
He said that the Baitul Mal is extending financial help to those students who cannot continue their academic activities due to lack of funds. Speaking in a Pakistan Television (PTV) programme, he said that the Baitul Mal is totally corruption free and no complaint of misappropriation of funds can be found against any of its branch. To a question regarding availability of forms, the Chairman said that the forms of Pakistan Baitul Mal can be taken from all the offices and added that the districts of the country had the offices to help improve the lives of the deserving and poor persons.
Zamurad Khan said that all the funds are being utilised transparently.
He said that the PBM would continue efforts for making the society healthy and prosperous. Replying to a question, he said any deserving and needy students, who cannot bear the expenses of education in the government running institutions or colleges, can contact the offices of Baitul Mal, where they will be given special assistance for continuing their studies.
