Five repaired engines inducted into PR: GM

General Manager Pakistan Railway, Saeed Akhtar said on Sunday that five repaired engines have been inducted into the railway's fleet. Talking to a private news channel, he said that the talks with 16 companies have been finalised to collect advance rent. He said that suspended operation of goods trains will be restored by utilising this advance rent from the private sector.
Elaborating, he said 50 percent operations of the trains will be under Pakistan Railways while the remaining 50 percent will be handed over to the private sector.
