Published Updated

After the 18th constitutional amendment in the constitution, provinces have the right to establish the local government system under the circumstances or the ground reality and according to the wishes of the people of the province. This was stated by Sindh Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs, Muhammad Ayaz Soomro while talking to the newsmen at Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto, on Sunday.
He said that new local government system 2011 is under consideration and consultation is continuing between the coalition partners so that the rights of the people of the province may be safeguarded at all costs. Replying a question, the minister said that it is a common sense to know that the governor of Sindh promulgated an ordinance for 90 days, which lapsed.
