Purchase of 200,000MT of sugar: TCP issues Gallop Tender notice

In pursuance of the government directives, Trading Corporation Pakistan (TCP) has issued a Gallop Tender Notice for purchase of 200,000 MT sugar, to be opened on Saturday November 12.
According to a press release issued here on Thursday, the bids have been invited in sealed envelops for a minimum quantity of 5,000MT and maximum 20,000 MT white sugar packed in polypropylene woven sacks, as per detailed specification/r equirements and PSQCA approved standards as mentioned in the tender documents, form the mills who are member of Pakistan Sugar Mills Association, (PSMA). The sugar mills defaulted with TCP are not eligible to participate in the tender.
The detailed terms and conditions of the tender can be purchased on payment from TCP's offices located at Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad with effect from 4th November, 2011 onward. The bids received will be opened on the same day at 1200 Noon in TCP's Board Room located at 4th Floor, Block B, Finance & Trade Centre, Shahra-e-Faisal, Karachi in presence the bidders or their authorised representatives, who may wish to be present.-PR
