Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) busted a notorious gang of dacoits and seized illegal weapons. A police spokesman said that CIA police team raided a jungle area near Pir Sohawa chowk and arrested four dacoits and seized 44 bore guns, 12 bore guns and 30 bore pistols.
The nabbed dacoits confessed their involvement in various crimes. They also committed that they looted the filling station in Lehtrar Raod Punj Garan, ransacked a house in Ali Pur and looted PCOs in Alipur, near Sultan Foundation.
