Law enforcement agencies on Sunday claimed to have arrested a former commando armed forces for his involvement in the alleged plot to attack on Parliament House. According to officials, security forces got information that some terrorists are planning to attack on parliament.
The forces took prompt action and arrested the terrorist identified as Saeed Ullah from Okara during a raid and shifted to Islamabad for interrogation. The arrested suspect, Saadullah, is a former Special Services Group (SSG) commando, who was dismissed, sources said. The suspect belonged to Darra Adam Khel. However, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has not issued any statement in this regard.
Raids were being conducted for his arrest over the past few months, officials said, declaring his arrest a major achievement.
Earlier, police had arrested five of his accomplices for planning an attack on the Parliament House on October 8 this year.
