Port Qasim's activities

A cargo volume of 24,653 tonnes, comprising 24,345 tonnes of import cargo and 308 tonnes of export cargo was handled at Port Qasim during last 24 hours on Saturday. The total import cargo of 24,345 tonnes includes 2,505 tonnes of LPG; 12,340 tonnes of diesel oil and 9,500 tonnes of palm oil.
The total export cargo includes 308 tonnes of cement. Two ships namely MV Amira Dina and MT Al-Soor-II sailed out to sea during last 24 hours, while another ship namely MT Gas Elixir is expected to sail on Saturday morning. A total number of four vessels MV Amira Dina, MT Al-Soor-II, MT Gas Elixir and MT SC Dalia are currently occupying berths to load/offload cement, palm oil and diesel oil respectively during last 24 hours. Two ships namely Alaska-II and Golden Ambrosia with cement and chemicals respectively are currently at the outer anchorage. A chemicals carrier namely MT Golden Ambrosia is due to arrive on Saturday at Port Qasim.
