Rates down a bit in thin trade on grain market

Subdued business was seen on the wholesale grain market on Saturday in process of trading, dealers said. On the cereal side makai low type did not move any side at Rs 2250 while the best quality was higher by Rs 37 to Rs 2312, other items retained overnight levels in process of trading, they said.
On the grams counter grams Australia was lower by Rs 100 to Rs 4650-4850 and grams Australia dal followed the same pattern, drifted down by Rs 200 to Rs 5800-6000, they said. On the seeds sector cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh low type fell by Rs 105 to Rs 920 and better type dropped Rs 25 to Rs 1075, dealers said. Prices were unchanged on the rice sector, dealers said.
