The Swiss franc traded lower against the euro and the dollar on Friday after tracking the single currency sharply higher against the greenback a day earlier on hopes a plan agreed by European leaders could help keep a lid on the euro zone debt crisis. The franc fell 0.4 percent against the dollar compared to the New York close, trading at 0.8632. The franc fell 0.3 percent against the euro to 1.2225 francs per euro.
