Temperature in Skardu went down to minus one degree centigrade, but mercury in Turbat shot up to 38 degree centigrade in the last 24 hours, the Met Office said on Thursday. The forecaster says a fresh western disturbance is expected to affect the northern parts of the country in the last 24 hours.
Dry weather is forecast in most parts of the country. However, some parts of Malakand division and Gilgit-Baltistan are expected to receive thunderstorm/rain in the next 24 hours. Weather in Karachi is also expected to remain dry with maximum temperature ranging between 34 degree centigrade and 36 degree centigrade. Karachi sizzled with temperature went up to 36 degree centigrade on Thursday, according to the Met Office.
