Sindh High Court (SHC) Circuit Bench Hyderabad issued notices to the federal and Sindh governments on a petition challenging the local government ordinance, promulgated by the Sindh Governor in August last. The bench comprising Justice Muhammad Tasleem and Justice Nisar Muhammad Shaikh issued notices for hearing on October 30.
The petitioner, advocate Mumtaz Lashari, had pleaded before the court to set-aside the ordinance.
