Decisive movement launched to get rid of present government: PML-N

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz senior leader Khawaja Saad Rafique on Tuesday said that decisive movement has been launched to get rid of present inapt government which gave nothing to the people except high inflation, worst economic deprivation, rampant corruption and bad governance.
Addressing a press conference along with PML-N leaders Syed Zaeem Qadri, Mian Marghoob Ahmed and Malik Riaz, the PML-N leader Saad Rafique said that both President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani are incorrigible and the PPP government needs to quit power and announce free and fair elections in the country before people force them to do so. "We would force the rulers to quit," he said.
According to him, the present government is adding miseries of countrymen by raising electricity tariff and resorting to worst load shedding of energy. He alleged that the present government is indulged in massive corruption and causing harm to the country. He said the PML-N's October 28 rally would prove beginning of protest movement against the present corrupt government. He said this rally of the party would prove a great success.
Answering a question, he said the PML-N lacks required votes in the National Assembly to get approved a no trust move. He added that all those parliamentary groups who are in power indulged in power politics. He said the PML-N had earlier held protest in front of presidency and also set up protest camp at National Assembly against the present corrupt government. He said the PML-N would hold protest meetings at Faisalabad and Gujranwala on November 3 and 14, respectively.
Answering a question, he also alleged that the PML-N raised objection over bogus voters' lists in AJK polls and lodged complaints to the Election Commission. He further alleged that President Zardari misused NADRA and has planned for the fulfilment of his designs in Punjab. To a query, he said his party shares the grief of the PPP over demise of former PPP Chairperson Begum Nusrat Bhutto.
Moreover, PML-N leader Hamza Shahbaz Sharif, while addressing a protest meeting, said that the person sitting in President House is responsible for all the problems faced by the country during the recent years and has brought the country to such a state where even the souls of the martyrs of the Pakistan Movement must be turning in their graves.
He said that he is sure that Allah Almighty will provide an opportunity to Nawaz Sharif to resolve the crises being faced by the country and PML-N will select only honest and competent persons to head different institutions so that damage caused to the country by the present rulers could be made up. He said that PML-N will introduce such a revolutionary economic system where job opportunities would be available to every youth.
Hamza said that instead of tackling the problem of load shedding Zardari government is increasing power tariff and a "Daku Raj" has been imposed in the country in the name of rental power plants. He said that Zardari government is engaged only in corruption and the President and ministers are involved in loot and plunder. He said that a President who went to France leaving his people marooned in the flood could never be sincere to the country.
Hamza further said that he believes in honouring his promises and contrary to those who consider that promises are not sacred he feels that every effort should be made to keep up one's word. He said that Chief Minister Punjab has practically proved by working day and night during the recent dengue situation that suffering of the people could be mitigated through sincere efforts.
