The leaders of Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Friday said PTI's October 30 public meeting will end the political dominance of PML-N, which is not a true people's party. General Secretary PTI Punjab Dr Yasmeen Rashid and other local leaders expressed these views while addressing a party meeting, which was held to review arrangements for the public meeting.
They said Sharif brothers were terrified by the growing popularity of PTI. They were confident that only Imran Khan could fix the problems faced by the nation and put the country on the path of progress. "From the government's kitty, billions of rupees are being spent on the arrangement of PML-N 'official congregation' on October 28, but it will be a complete failure," he added.
They disclosed that the party has arranged local meetings and motorcycle rallies at union council level to publicize the public meeting. They advised the party workers to accelerate the publicity campaign in the Lahore region. They criticised the Punjab government and local administration for removing the PTI banners and flexes and demanded of the government to stop such tactics.
