Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) is all set to hold 'Go Zardari Go' rally on October 28th, which would start from Nasir Bagh and conclude at Bhatti Chowk. The PML-N had earlier announced to hold rally on October 26 but extended date to ensure maximum participation of its workers and supporters in the rally.
Sources claimed that PML-N legislators had been assigned responsibilities to mobilise public opinion by holding public gathering in their respective constituencies ahead of October 28 rally. The PML-N had also set up protest camps in different areas of the provincial metropolis.
Addressing the PML-N workers in different areas of Lahore, PML-N leader Hamza Shahbaz Sharif said that Zardari gang has nothing to do except plundering the national resources. He said that President Zardari has given free hand to his companions for looting national exchequer. In order to save Pakistan from Zardari, people will have to come out of their houses and force Zardari to go, he added.
Hamza also said that Zardari and his cronies had ruined the national economy during last four years. He said that most corrupt persons have been appointed as heads of the national institutions; the condition of the masses had become miserable due to loadshedding of long hours. Farmers and labourers have been deprived of their livelihood while thousands of railways employees protested against non-payment of salary. Hamza said that the rally to be taken out on October 28 from Nasir Bagh will make the Zardari government realise that the era of highhandedness, corruption, price-hike, unemployment, load shedding and plundering is about to be over.
