University of Health Sciences (UHS) has on Thursday issued the provisional merit list for admission to medical/dental institutions of the Punjab. On the basis of this merit list, the candidates will be admitted to as many as 18 public sector medical and dental colleges of the province, a spokesman of the UHS said, adding.
"The colleges will be allotted on the basis of merit, choice of the candidate and availability of seat. The first selection list shall be displayed on 30th October." He further said there are 3,205 MBBS seats in 15 medical colleges and 216 BDS seats in three dental colleges in public sector.
