To supplement the efforts of the Chinese government in helping Pakistan fight the floods in the Sindh province, the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) has sent a 50-member medical team carrying 50 tons of flood relief aid to Pakistan. The PLA medical team along with the aid reached Karachi on Thursday.
They will be transferred to the city of Kunry in southern Sindh, says a press release received here. China is one of the first foreign countries pledging and delivering immediate humanitarian aid to Pakistan in the aftermath of the floods in some parts of the country this year.-PR
