TCP floats urea tender

Trading Corpo-ration of Pakistan (TCP) has floated an international tender for the import of urea from world-wide sources to meet local demand. According to TCP sources here on Thursday, pre-qualified urea suppliers can submit their bids, which should not be less than 50,000 metric tons, meeting standards and specifications of PSQCA. The bidding for the tender will be held on October 28, 2011.
Sources said that the bidders need to quote C & F price for delivery at Karachi, Port Qasim and Gwadar Port. The shipment should be made by end November 2011 in line with tender document. It may be noted that the TCP has so far imported 612,000 MT of urea to meet domestic requirements.
