Governor Punjab Sardar Latif Khosa said it is shame that daughter-in-law of an important personality of the province has been deprived of justice after she was tortured. The Governor here on Thursday said the courts have confessional statements by those who are raising objections on the appointment of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chief.
While referring to the Sharif brothers Khosa said: Why don't they get their cases reopened? Talking to media after the seminar on Combating Torture in Pakistan Governor said that loot and plunder of resources is going on in Punjab and there is a corruption of billion of rupees in Aashiana, Yello Cab, Danish School Projects and Sasti Roti Scheme. Khosa said extortion, ransom, abductions and robberies and daylight murders have made the people in Punjab unsafe and insecure and Punjab Government is neglecting the basic rights of people by not providing them security of life and property.
