Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) is endeavouring to inculcate traffic discipline among the people and co-operation of citizen is very much crucial to achieve the goal, SSP Traffic revealed. One-day workshop was held at Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) on Thursday, which was attended by more than 200 officers and employees.
While addressing the workshop Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Dr Moeen Masood said that the aim of holding road safety education workshops was to acquaint the citizens with traffic rules and regulations. He said that implementing traffic rules were the prime motive of the ITP and citizens are being educated through seminars, workshops at educational institutions as well as government and private offices. He said that the main feature of the workshop was video conferencing through which officers in PTA offices at Lahore, Karachi, Quetta, Peshawar and Muzaffarabad also participated in the workshop and were educated about traffic rules.
