On Saturday wheat prices were higher, while some items turned softer depicting two way price movement. Wheat old and new Bardan gained Rs 15 to Rs 2625 and 2640, gur low type retained overnight level at Rs 6500, while the best quality was lower by Rs 400 to Rs 7800, other items maintained overnight levels. Grams 50x50 shed Rs 50 to Rs 5300-5500, other items retained the overnight levels due to balanced demand and supply. Irri-6 Sindh shed Rs 25 to Rs 3275-3300 owing to fall in demand by exporters.
Cottonseed oilcake with bag Sindh low type lost Rs 50 to Rs 1100, while the good type maintained overnight level at Rs 1200, til low type was down to Rs 3300, while the good type did not show any change at Rs 3600.
