Commodities' prices fluctuate modestly on demand/supply position, tracking global price trend

On Jodia Bazaar vegetable milk powder (per bag of 25-kg) Euro gold lost Rs 200 to Rs 9200, Balie Gold ended lower by Rs 200 to Rs 9000, Corolac lost Rs 400 to Rs 9600, Bale Vale lost Rs 200 to Rs 9200 and Haleeb Veg gained Rs 800 to Rs 8500.
On Thursday masoor Canada was quoted lower at Rs 6000, wheat old and new bardan rose by Rs 10 to Rs 2610 and Rs 2625.
On Jodia Bazaar Kenyan tea (per kg) PF-1 Agrade rose by Rs 20 to Rs 460, B-grade rose by Rs 2 to Rs 435, plus C grade rose by Rs 20 to Rs 435, plus C grade rose by Rs 15 to Rs 410, and C grade lost Rs 10 to Rs 345, BP-1 A-grade conceded Rs 25 to Rs 400, B grade lost Rs 20 to Rs 380 and Plus C grade shed Rs 5 to Rs 325, D-A grade ended low by Rs 15 to Rs 425, B-grade lost Rs 10 to Rs 410, dust A grade lost Rs 10 to Rs 340, Tanzania PF-1 (CTC) ended down Rs 25 to Rs 350 and BP-1 (CTC) quoted at Rs 315 on Friday.
On Saturday wheat prices were higher, while some items turned softer depicting two way price movement. Wheat old and new Bardan gained Rs 15 to Rs 2625 and 2640, gur low type retained overnight level at Rs 6500, while the best quality was lower by Rs 400 to Rs 7800, other items maintained overnight levels. Grams 50x50 shed Rs 50 to Rs 5300-5500, other items retained the overnight levels due to balanced demand and supply. Irri-6 Sindh shed Rs 25 to Rs 3275-3300 owing to fall in demand by exporters.
Cottonseed oilcake with bag Sindh low type lost Rs 50 to Rs 1100, while the good type maintained overnight level at Rs 1200, til low type was down to Rs 3300, while the good type did not show any change at Rs 3600.
