Three killed in separate incidents in Karachi

Three persons were killed in separate incidents in different areas of the metropolis here on Friday. According to police, a father of three children was shot dead near his house in Bengali Para, Sector 2, in the limits of Korangi police station. The victim, Ishaq, 47, son of Mohammad Amin was targeted by unknown armed men when he was standing outside his house.
The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for medico legal formalities. SHO Farooq Satti said the victim was employee of a private biscuit factory. He said the victim had no political affiliation and might have been murdered over personal enmity. No case was registered till filing of this report. A slaughtered body of man was found from an empty plot near Saba Cinema in the limits of New Karachi Industrial Area police station.
The body of the victim, who was later identified as Imam Hassan, 42, was found in an empty plot No 3/4 Sector 6-B. Police shifted his body to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for legal formalities. Police believed that personal enmity could be behind the murder. No case was registered till filing of this report. A man, Saleem, 42, son of Bashir, was knocked down by a speedy motorcycle at Madiha Stop near 4-K Chowrangi in the jurisdiction of Bilal Colony police station. Resultantly, Saleem and the motorcyclist, Abdul Basit, received injuries. Police shifted them to ASH, where Saleem succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
