Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) leader Hamza Shahbaz Sharif has said that Punjab government will distribute 0.5 million anti-dengue kits for the eradication of dengue virus. Addressing the workers belonging to all towns of the city, Hamza said that PML-N workers will be distributing the kits containing necessary material for protection against dengue mosquito by door-to-door visits and will inform the people about preventive measures against this menace.
He said that everyone is praising Punjab Chief Minister, Shahbaz Sharif who worked round the clock for the eradication of dengue and fought shoulder to shoulder to the citizens against this disease with the help of entire machinery and public representatives. He said that the number of new dengue patients has substantially decreased in the hospitals and the citizens are praising 'Khadim-e-Aala' Punjab for his public service.
Urging the workers of PML-N to do more, Hamza Shahbaz said that they should not rest content till complete eradication of dengue and continue to play their active role for shifting the patients to the hospitals and in the awareness campaign regarding dengue and its treatment. He appreciated the Lahoriites who bravely fought against dengue, but the spirit of sacrifice of doctors, nurses and other staff as well as private hospitals and laboratories in the time of distress will also have to be acknowledged.
