Power supply to Khanpur station cut off again

The power supply to Khanpur railway station was again cut off over non-payment of a Rs 4.9 million bill on Friday. Earlier, Wapda had provided relief for three days to the Pakistan Railways to pay the bill which was Rs 3.3 million. However, another Rs 1.6 million was added to it.
Khanpur SDO Zafar Abbasi said electricity to the railway station would be restored if it pay the current bill. Passengers and residents of Railway Colony were facing immense problems after the power suspension.
