Annual General Meeting of Shifa International Hospital, which held here, declared 15 percent dividend for the shareholders and approved its annual financial report. The AGM of Shifa International Hospital was scheduled for October 8, 2011, but on the same day Shifa CEO and President, Dr Zaheer Ahmed passed away.
Shifa International Hospital is the brainchild and lifetime achievement of Dr Zaheer who remained its president and CEO from the very first day till his death. His death was a great loss to the organisation, but its strong management and team developed by Dr Zaheer successfully managed the AGM as scheduled.
The first part of the meeting was to pay tributes and express condolence over Dr Zaheer's death. Acting CEO, Dr Manzoor Qazi and others highlighted the achievements of Dr Zaheer and the audiences prayed to Almighty Allah that Dr Zaheer's soul may rest in peace. In the second session, the annual financial report was presented and discussed and finally approved by the shareholders. On this, new auditors were appointed and 15 percent dividend was declared for the shareholders.
