Sindh Chief Minister, Syed Qaim Ali Shah on Sunday said all available resources are being employed by the government to provide relief to the flood victims in Sindh.
He was addressing a meeting held to review the relief and rehabilitation activities for flood victims in Sindh at CM's House, said a statement. Qaim called upon the officials concerned to develop co-ordination and mutual co-operation to provide relief to the people. He directed the administration of the flood-affected districts to expedite the relief and rehabilitation work. He also called for ensuring provision of relief goods and medical treatment to all affectees.
The CM informed the participants that President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani and himself are supervising the relief activities. Among other notables, the meeting was attended by Sindh Minister for Rehabilitation, Haji Muzaffar Shujra, Sindh Law Minister, Muhammad Ayaz Soomro, Secretary PDMA, Sualeh Farooqi and Principal Secretary to Sindh CM, Aleemuddin Billo.
