Prices mostly turn easy on grain market

Easier trend was witnessed on the wholesale grain market on Saturday in process of trading, dealers said. On the cereal side, wheat old Bardan gained Rs 10 to Rs 2580 and wheat new Bardan rose the same amount to Rs 2595, gur low type lost Rs 200 to Rs 6500 while the better type was unchanged at Rs 8000, they said.
On the grams side, grams Australia No 1 rose by Rs 50 to Rs 4600, the good type, however, lost Rs 250 to Rs 4800, grams Australia No 1 dal shed Rs 200 to Rs 5200-5400, grams 50x50 lost Rs 5200-5400, yellow peas Canada shed Rs 50 to Rs 4050-4250, yellow peas Canada dal followed the same pattern, losing Rs 100 to Rs 4400-4600, yellow peas Ukraine shed Rs 50 to Rs 3850-4050 and yellow peas Ukraine dal lost Rs 100 to Rs 4300-4500, they said.
On the rice sector Irri-6 Sindh new was lower by Rs 50 to Rs 3500, other items maintained overnight levels in process of slow trading, they said. On the seed side cottonseed oilcake with bag Sindh low type was unchanged at Rs 1100 while the best type shed Rs 25 to Rs 1225, other items maintained overnight levels, they added.
