Airport Security Force (ASF) on Saturday claimed to have recovered seven kilograms of narcotics from a passenger at Karachi airport. According to ASF sources, the accused, who was identified as Azhar Iqbal appeared suspicious during thorough examination of his luggage.
Resultantly, the ASF officials recovered around seven kg heroin, which was concealed in the hidden cavity of the baggage. They said the ASF officials also confiscated Rs 7 million from the accused passenger, who was going to Barcelona from Gujrat. Later, he was sent to Airport police for further investigation. No case was registered till the filing of this report.
