MQM to launch 20m march if ballot process is stopped: Farooq Sattar

Addressing a press conference at local press club, he warned that "Quaid-e-Inquilaab" would lead the march if masses were not empowered.

There is an urgent need to understand the problems of the people, he said and added that MQM is trying to introduce, change through political process.

He said that politics of status quo is harming the country, adding that social, economic and political reforms will have to be introduced to help remove the sense of deprivation among the people.

Dr Farooq Sattar said that 500 feudals and industrialist families were occupying country's resources while MQM was striving hard to ensure distribution of these resources among masses of the country. He claimed that the upcoming public meeting of MQM on December 23 would be historical and Altaf Hussain would be making some important announcements in the meeting.

To a question about Imran Khan's public meeting in Karachi, another MQM leader Raza Haroon who was also present in the press conference said that we should have good expectations with people who support democracy and democratic norms.
