The group calligraphic paintings exhibition of seven known artists of the country will get underway here at the Revivers Galleria Gulberg from October 12. The exhibition "The Art of Calligraphy," will continue till October 25 and will provide the art lovers in general and those having interest in calligraphic paintings in particular vast opportunities to view the calligraphic art work on display.
On display in the exhibition there will be selected calligraphic paintings of Amjad Butt, Bin Qullander, Chitra Pritam, Mashkoor Raza, Mussarat Arif, Riaz Rafi and Tariq Javaid. Commenting, owner and curator of the Revivers Galleria, Sara Anjum said, "It is an honour for me and the gallery that new art season is being opened with group exhibition of calligraphic paintings done with mixed media on the canvas, oil on canvas, mixed media on board and acrylic canvas depicting Holy Qura'n verses on the canvas in different mediums in impressive manner."
